Dr. Matthew Sudderick
Dr. Matthew Sudderick BChD MJDF RCSEng (GDC Number: 228636) is Cotswold Dental Wellness’ Associate Dentist.
Matt qualified from the University of Leeds Dental School in 2014. He then stayed a further year in Yorkshire to complete his Vocational Training at a practice in Whitby.
In 2015, he took a Dental Core Training post in Community and Hospital, based in Worcestershire. This was a fantastic opportunity which enabled him to gain great experience in treating patients with complex needs and developing his oral surgery skills.
Having completed his hospital post, in 2016 Matt moved back to general dental practice, where he took a position in Liverpool. During this time, he developed his interest in orthodontics and minimally invasive cosmetic dentistry.
Matt has completed all six courses in The Clinical Foundation of Orthopaedics and Orthodontics with the world-renowned Dr Skip Truitt. This approach works with the body to maximise genetic potential for growth, to fit teeth into crowded arches and aims to avoid extracting healthy teeth which is sadly all too common in the traditional approach to orthodontics.
In 2019, Matt successfully completed his MJDF examination and gained membership to the Royal College of Surgeons.
Having relocated to the Midlands, Matt is now greatly looking forward to working with us and is committed to providing patients with an exceptionally high standard of care.
In his spare time, Matt likes to keep active by walking with his wife and playing sports such as football and golf. He is also a very keen skier and an avid football fan, with a season ticket at Liverpool FC.
